Upgrading Stack member mismatch Old Version to new version
This upgrade required, when you take the new switch out of the box and try connect to stack – you will mismatch, since cisco not always ship with latest version of code.
Connect the new stack member (does not matter what version of code it come with to active stack switch, bootup you will see below message, and follow the step by step :
Issue upgrade command :
Took 10-15min for the new switch to come up and join stack :
Now you see new switch joined to Stack :
Show version :
Now we cleanup old images not required :
#install remove inactive
