Installing and configuring firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-36 on EVE-NG in 10minutes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Note : Make sure you have enough resources for vFTD, since need more resources like CPU : 4 and RAM :8GB minumum<\/strong><\/p>\n

Download from Cisco site.<\/p>\n

Cisco_Firepower_Threat_Defense_Virtual-6.2.0-362.qcow2 hda.qcow2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using WinSCP upload to EVE-NG \u00a0 \/root folder.<\/p>\n

Once copied Login to EVE-NG using SSH.<\/p>\n

Make directory for vFTD<\/strong><\/p>\n

cd\u00a0\/opt\/unetlab\/addons\/qemu<\/p>\n

mkdir firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-36<\/p>\n

\u00a0cd firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-36<\/p>\n

cp \/root\/Cisco_Firepower_Threat_Defense_Virtual-6.2.0-362.qcow2 hda.qcow2 \/opt\/unetlab\/addons\/qemu\/firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-36<\/p>\n

Once cpied file in to folder.<\/p>\n

Move the files to hda.qcow2<\/p>\n

\u00a0mv\u00a0Cisco_Firepower_Threat_Defense_Virtual-6.2.0-362.qcow2 hda.qcow2 \u00a0hda.qcow2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fix Permission – this is must ( when ever you do any changes in EVE-NG)<\/p>\n

\/opt\/unetlab\/wrappers\/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Add Node in to your LAB for testing.<\/p>\n

If you have added the image you can firepower6 in your node list ( if not added correct folder, you still see firepower 6 as \u00a0grey colored – check permission and right image in place , in right folder).<\/p>\n

I have give 4 CPU and 8GB RAM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start the vFTD by clicking the Start<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Once node started you can see color changed from Grey to Blue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It took 10-20min for me to get this console. all set to go for FTD for labbing:<\/strong><\/p>\n
