The whole process is remarkably easy and quite quick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"omc-date-time-video\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To reset the password on your Windows 2012 server, simply complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boot from the Micrsoft Windows Server 2012 DVD<\/li>\n<li>From the Windows Setup menu, click <strong>\u201cNext\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>\u201cRepair your computer\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Under Choose and option, click on <strong>\u201cTroubleshoot\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under Advanced options, click <strong>\u201cCommand Prompt\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>At the command prompt, run the following commands:<br \/>\n<strong>d:<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>cd windows\\system32<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>ren Utilman.exe Utilman.exe.old<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>copy cmd.exe Utilman.exe<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Close the command prompt and then click <strong>\u201cContinue\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The server should now boot and present the logon screen.
